It will display digital minutes and seconds that are over
FOUR INCHES HIGH on your
COMPUTER SCREEN.
Each of the three required timings described below can be paused and there is a search forward/backward feature. The timer shows elapsed times (counts up) in the following sequence:
- Reading the motion cards by team members. The timer stops at one minute and beeps for three seconds.
- The team presentation. The timer beeps and blinks for three seconds at eight and ten minutes and will stop at thirteen minutes. The timer can be stopped at any time in order to record the elapsed time of the presentation. In addition, the elapsed times for up to fifteen presentations are automatically displayed on a table and can be printed.
- The final team oral questioning. The timer stops at two minutes and beeps for three seconds. The oral questioning preceding this part (when team members are asked questions relating to their assigned motion) is not required to be timed. Beginning with the 2006 National FFA CDE, there will not be a time limit for either part of the oral questioning phase.
